How PIP is assessed
It is about how your condition affects everyday activities
PIP is assessed across 10 daily living activities and two mobility activities. It is not awarded simply because of a diagnosis.
For each activity, consider whether you can do it safely, to an acceptable standard, repeatedly and within a reasonable time. Your needs generally have to apply on more than half the days over the relevant period.
